Y is for Yale

The yale is a creature from European mythology and heraldry. Described as a goat or a deer or goat with horns that can swivel in any direction, cloven hooves, and the tusks and tail of a boar, and often depicted covered in circular spots, the yale is the heraldic symbol of the Queen of Britain and one of the symbols of Yale University.
